Curriculum

We provide a broad and balanced academic curriculum based on the Tanzania education system set in the context of a generous amount of time for games, extra-curricular activities and opportunities for pupils to develop their social education.

Our curriculum, goes well beyond nationally expected levels of achievement and is flexible enough to be able to respond to the needs of our children and also challenge their thinking.

English, Mathematics, Kiswahili, Civics, Science, History, Geography, Social Studies (SST), ICT and Vocational Skills.

Lessons are delivered, from the outset, by specialist teachers and this enables our pupils to experience the expertise and enthusiasm of teachers who are passionate about their subjects.

We also feel that it is important that lessons are delivered in specialist facilities, thereby making available the very best resources for learning.Our pupils enjoy the experience of a variety of teaching and learning styles, and this enables them to achieve their full potential. In addition, we recognize that all pupils have special skills, abilities and aptitudes, and that these should be supported to the full.

We are also keen to ensure that our pupils grow spiritually, morally, socially and culturally and to this end, our curriculum includes personal, social and health education which reflects the school’s aims and ethos.

It is vital that children develop an interest in education that stretches beyond the boundaries of the school day. In this way we can be sure that with successful teaching and learning, our pupils become lifelong learners.
